Yoga | Union
Yoga is an ancient Hindu spiritual and physical practice designed to unite the mind, body, and spirit. While associated with physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) for health and flexibility, the embodiment of yoga as a lifestyle builds inner awareness, emotional regulation, and self-realization. Yoga acts as a comprehensive "technology for transformation", facilitating a shift from a hectic, chaotic state of mind to a more peaceful, centered existence.
Alaska's yoga journey began in 2011 when she discovered yoga in the park while in college. Alaska completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2026, studying modern Himalayan Yogic traditions blending Vedic philosophy, Upanishadic wisdom, Patanjali's yoga, Tantra, meditation, and Ayurveda.
With her calm yet catalytic presence, Alaska creates peaceful, grounded experiences moving energy through the physical and subtle bodies. Through breathwork, meditation, intuitive movement, sound, aroma, and creative expression she intends to cultivate emotional freedom, joyful presence, and deeper connection with the Divine/Universe/Spirit/Source/Mother Earth/Goddess/God -- all are welcome.
Their classes are rooted in spirituality, playfulness, and compassionate self-awareness. She believes deeply loving self is the first step in receiving and offering love to others. Together, we create sacred space for ease, connection, and the quiet remembering that we belong.
